Getting to Puerto Rico
Airport Details
Fly into Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU)
Major Airlines: JetBlue, American, Delta, United
Flight Time Examples: 3.5 hrs from FL, 4 hrs from NYC.
No Passport Required! P.R. is a U.S. territory, so domestic U.S. citizens don’t need a passport. You just need a valid REAL ID (or any federally compliant photo ID) to board your flight!
Getting Around
Rental Cars
Best for exploring the entire island. Book early for better rates.
Providers: Enterprise, Hertz, Budget, Avis (all available at SJU).
Ride Sharing & Taxis
Uber & Lyft are widely available in the San Juan metro area. Taxis are also readily available at the airport and hotels.

Marriott Room Block
We are so excited to celebrate with you! To help make your travel planning easier, we have secured a room block at the San Juan Marriott.
The Deposit & Booking Policy Please note that when you reserve a room, the hotel requires a one-night non-refundable deposit, with the remaining balance due at check-in. The hotel uses this policy to secure the lowest possible group rate for our guests.
Please also note that the hotel charges an additional fee if you would like to select and guarantee your bed type (King or Double Beds) ahead of time. Otherwise, you can simply choose between the available bed types for free when you check in!
Because we are financially responsible for any unfulfilled or canceled reservations within our block, we kindly ask that you only book your room once your travel dates and attendance are completely locked in. If you are still finalizing your plans or are unsure of your dates, we completely understand! We just ask that you hold off on booking until you are 100% certain.
Checking, Changing, or Adding Your Dates
- Need to check your requested dates? If you need a reminder of which dates you originally requested for the room block, you can click here to view our Google Sheet doc or feel free to contact us directly and we will let you know what you selected.
- Need to change your dates? If you need to change your dates of stay, please let us know first so we can contact the hotel to make adjustments. Please keep in mind that the hotel cannot guarantee the same discounted rate for adjusted dates.
- Want a room? If you did not previously request a hotel room at the San Juan Marriott but would like to be added to our room block now, just let us know and we will see if we can accommodate you!
